DESCRIPTION
Optimisation of spaces, cable runs and connections in the machine
We developed a pre-wired system with an assembled cable carrier, complete with electrical and fluid parts, connected to the machine via a fully customised electromechanical interface.
The customer’s main objective is to optimise space, cable runs and connections in the machine. These machines are extremely compact and complex, the electrical cabinet is located on the machine, so space and cable runs are small and limited while power and signal quantities are important and substantial.
Starting with the development of the chain, customised electromechanical systems were designed to optimise the passage and distribution of cables and the way they interface with the rest of the machine. The creation of a custom mechanical template has then made it possible to simulate the installation of the chain and auxiliary systems in test conditions to facilitate the customer during installation.
The solution was developed in close cooperation with the customer and our supply chain, which contributed to the search for specific solutions.
